1. Introduction

Welcome to Editing Index (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website at editingindex.com and the purchase of video editing services offered through it. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Business Information

Editing Index is a professional video editing service. We provide video post-production services including editing, color grading, motion graphics, sound design, and related creative services. Contact: admin@editingindex.com

3. Services & Descriptions

All services are described in detail on our pricing and services pages. We reserve the right to modify service offerings at any time. Any changes will not affect orders already placed and confirmed.

  • Basic Plan – Video editing up to 5 minutes, color correction, cuts, music sync, subtitles, 1 revision.
  • Standard Plan – Up to 15 minutes, motion graphics, sound design, transitions, thumbnail, 3 revisions.
  • Premium Plan – Up to 30 minutes, custom intro/outro, color grading, multi-cam, dedicated editor, rush delivery, unlimited revisions.

4. Ordering & Payment

All orders are placed through our website and processed via Stripe, a PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor. By placing an order, you authorise us to charge the total amount displayed at checkout, including any applicable taxes. We accept major credit and debit cards. Payment is charged at the time of order confirmation. You will receive an email receipt for every transaction. All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated.

5. Delivery & Fulfilment

Editing Index provides digital services — no physical goods are shipped. Delivery timeframes:

  • Basic Plan: 3–5 business days
  • Standard Plan: 5–7 business days
  • Premium Plan: 2–3 business days (rush delivery included)

Completed work is delivered via a secure download link sent to your email. Delivery times begin once we receive all required source materials from the client.

6. Revisions

Each plan includes a set number of revisions as described above. Revision requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. Requests submitted after this window may incur additional charges.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

Our full Refund Policy is available at editingindex.com/refund-policy.

  • You may cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided work has not yet commenced.
  • If work has already commenced, a partial refund may be issued based on the proportion of work completed.
  • No refund is issued once the final deliverable has been approved and downloaded by the client.
  • Refunds are processed via the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • To request a refund, contact admin@editingindex.com with your order details.

8. Recurring Billing & Subscriptions

If you subscribe to a recurring plan, your payment method will be billed automatically at the start of each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time by contacting admin@editingindex.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused days unless required by law.

9. Chargebacks & Disputes

We encourage you to contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. Most issues can be resolved quickly via admin@editingindex.com. We reserve the right to provide evidence of service delivery to Stripe or your bank in connection with any dispute.

10. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing all source footage and materials, ensuring you own or have rights to all submitted materials, and providing clear and timely feedback during revisions.

11. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, you own the final edited video deliverable. Editing Index retains the right to use completed work in its portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing before project completion.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Editing Index shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.

13. Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
